Daily nonstop flights between Charleston and Miami International Airport are scheduled to begin Nov. 19, 2009 on American Eagle Airlines. Flights will provide convenient connections to the Caribbean, Bahamas and Latin America. "We're delighted to expand our service to Charleston, offering our customers convenient connections through Miami to fourteen destinations throughout Florida, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Latin America," said Peter Bowler, American Eagle's president and CEO. "With the significant military presence in the Charleston area, this will provide even greater access for visitors to and from the Charleston Air Force Base, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, as well as The Citadel military college."
Flights depart CHS at 12:05pm and arrive Miami at 1:50pm
Flights depart MIA at 2:25pm and arrive CHS at 4:00pm.
